Anubia nana "Petite"
It grows very slowly, and can do well in both low or high lights. It is most
decorative when attached to stones or roots, and like other Anubias should be
attached with fishing line until it gains a hold. It is an ideal choice for the
small or nano tanks due to its small size and ease of maintenance. The "True" Anubia nana Petite
has very tiny leaves, size of small fingernail.

Blyxa japonica
B. japonica has recently been
popularized by Takashi Amano's 'Nature'  layouts, where he utilizes its dense
growth habit and grass-like appearance to  form attractive greenish to golden
tussocks in the midground. It forms an  excellent contrast with small-leaved
foreground plants such as Glossostigma  elatinoides in aquascapes lacking
taller plants
Sold as one bushy plant

5* Elatine gratioloides
Elatine gratioloides is essentially a stem plant but has been used as a foreground plant where the stem is taught to "crawl" along the substrate. With good light, Elatine  stays low and  spreads quickly. Its bright green colour provides a great  contrast to darker  plants.
However, Elatine gratioloides can also be used as a miground plant in low light enviroment.

Eleocharis Belem (5cm mesh pot)
Eleocharis Belem is a new addition to the Hairgrass family.
This very low-growing species forms many runners close to the parent plant, forming a very dense growth in the aquarium.
Unlike the regular hairgrass, it spreads itself and curls downwards towards the substrate, creating a unique foreground.Very similar to Eleocharis Japan but is slightly shorter and leaves are lighter in colour. Place 3-5 stalks together about 2-3 cm apart when planting and you will be rewarded with a lush lawn when they spread. It is an excellent choice for foreground planting.

Glossostigma sp. ( 5cm pot)
G. elatinoides is usually planted in the foreground
where it forms a low  growing, dense carpettypically in Nature Aquarium/Amano
style layouts. This  plant can also be used as a foreground accent. Individual
runners form excellent  larger leaved accents when growing along a Riccia
foreground.

Eleocharis acicularis (emersed grown)
Eleocharis acicularis forms a lush, grassy carpet when provided with high light and carbon dioxide.  In those conditions, its rhizome will expand at a moderate growth and spread through runners.  The blades of the plant will grow to a height of 15cm
In nano aquascapers, Eleocharis acicularis has the potential to make a great background plant

10*Helanthium tennellum" micro"
Helanthium tenellum, known as the pygmy chain  sword,
has a very wide distribution from the northern United States to South  America. Two quite distinct varieties are known in the aquarium trade. The most  commonly sold form has narrow dark green leaves only 1-2 mm wide. The most  recently formed leaves can have a dark red coloration under good lighting and  nutrition. A much less common variety has light green leaves that are much  shorter and broader, being up to 4 mm wide at the base, tapering from the base  to the tip. In the broad-leaved variety, there is no tendency to produce red  pigmentation. Plants of the second variety, if uncrowded, stay very low to the  substrate, whereas the first variety produces upright leaves, even if  uncrowded.* H. tenellum spreads rapidly by runners, forming a  dense turf in good light and a much more sparse growth in shaded areas. While  growth is faster with CO2 fertilization, the  plant grows well in tanks where the fish provide the only CO2. Frequent  pruning is necessary to keep it from invading every part of the tank. Emersed,  the narrow leaved variety produces a very delicate, small plant with tiny  flowers, whereas the broad leaved variety produces a considerably larger, more  robust plant.

Hemianthus callitricoides in 5cm mesh pot
Hemianthus callitrichoides "Cuba", commonly referred to as HC, is one of the smallest aquarium plants available to a hobbyist.
It creeps naturally and will cover the bottom of an aquarium, forming a thick carpet over time.
It is generally  undemanding and makes an excellent foreground plant, expecially for small or  nano tanks, where it will do fine even without CO2 injection. Given CO2  supplementation, growth is accelerated and a lawn of bubbling HC is simply breathtaking

Hemianthus micranthemoides
very bushy sold in 3cm pot
Hemianthus micranthemoides is also commonly known as "Pearl Weed", due to the formation of many tiny bubbles on its leaves when good conditions are met. It requires good lights  and will thrive even if no CO2 is added. Under intense lights, it can crawl and stay very low in an aquarium, forming very desirable carpets in a short time. This plant makes a great addition to any small to mid sized tanks
