Hygrophila polysperma

Hygrophila polysperma. One of the most popular stem plants, Hygrophila polysperma (sold frequently as Blue Stricta ) grows large, pointed bright green leaves with silvery undersides. A cluster of these stems in the mid-ground of your aquarium will quickly grow to create a lush green bush.  Hygrophila polysperma is exceptionally easy to grow, requiring only low to moderate lighting and fertilisation to thrive. CO2 injection is not required with this plant, making it an excellent choice for low tech aquariums.
