Rotala macrandra "Green" is native to India and is a common stem plant in the hobby. Its leaves remain light green on top and pink at the bottom even under the most intense lights.
It is easier to grow than the regular Rotala macrandra, but requires much the same conditions. Light should be at least moderate (>2wpg) and CO2 is recommended. NO3 (5-15ppm) and PO4 (1-2ppm) should be consistent. Iron and other micronutrients is also necessary for this plant to thrive.
Due to its size, it is most attractive when planted in a bunch in a planted aquarium.
