Eriocaulon parkeri - Mother plant size
This small-growing Eriocaulon species is bright green with a grassy appearance. It forms plantlets at its base that can be split from the mother plant to propagate. Eriocaulon parkeri will also flower occasionally, developing either flowers or plantlets on the stalk.
This species grows slowly, and while it can be used to create a lawn it is best suited for use as a focal point or feature in your aquarium. Eriocaulon parkeri is an easy to grow species that is low demand, but will benefit greatly from a nutrient rich substrate, good lighting and co2.
This species is one of the easiest to grow of all Eriocaulons. It is a small plant.(3cm high) that grows slowly but can eventually form a carpet(splitting of the mother plant) in the fore ground of medium sized tanks. It is especially recommended for Nano tanks where a group can be a focal point in your aquascape. It is especially suited to the water conditions required for growing shrimp. Lighting can be medium-high.
